This project aims to build the capacity of educational leaders from six states in India to provide effective professional development opportunities for K-12 English teachers. Participants will observe how diverse U.S. school districts plan and administer effective in-service teacher training or teacher mentoring programs. Participants will thus be better-positioned to guide, advise, and bring about substantive changes in designing, implementing, and advising on in-service teacher professional development systems at the state level.
