About the event

Vermont has long been a leader in environmental sustainability, natural resource management, and climate change mitigation. A Just Transition to a Green Economy will focus on how we can build a more just and equitable response to climate change through a focus on renewable energy & urban sustainability, workforce development, and inclusion.

This event will focus on how Vermont has long taken a local approach to address climate change as well as how we can all think on a more global scale to work towards a more inclusive green economy.
