12:00 - 12:30 p.m.; Lunch at MassPort

12:45 p.m. leave for Logan Airport

1:00 -1:30 p.m. Tour of Logan Airport

1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - meeting with Logan Airport Director

2:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tour of UPS facility in Chelmsford, MA.

4:15 p.m. - Depart for Colchester, Vermont

7:00 p.m. Arrive at Berlin Park & Ride

7:45 p.m. - Arrive back in Colchester

The Port of Boston is alive and thriving. Boston is one of the most modern and efficient container ports in the U.S.  Conley Terminal for containerized cargo shipments and Moran Terminal, currently leased to Boston Autoport for the import and distribution of automobiles handle more than 1.3 million tons of general cargo, 1.5 million tons of non-fuels bulk cargo and 12.8 million tons of bulk fuel cargos yearly.

In 2005, Boston Logan International Airport served 27,087,905 passengers, handled 409,066 flights and facilitated the movement of 742 million pounds of cargo. New England’s largest transportation center, the airport boundary encompasses approximately 2,400 acres in East Boston, Massachusetts. The UPS facility in Chelmsford is one of the largest building in the nation!  It sits on 9 acres and through this facility.  It is one of UPS's 936 facilities worldwide.  UPS, celbrating it's 100 year of operation, has 427,000 employees worldwide and generated $47.5 billion in revenue in 2006.
