Here's how I can help :
Let the VCWA know what options interest you (click!) Volunteer form

1. International Visitors Program

(1) Brainstorm on programming ideas by suggesting meetings and activities;

(2) Schedule appointments;

(3) Draft a press release;

(4) Greet visitors at the airport;

(5) Escort a delegation to their appointments;
(6) Have the visitors to my home for a meal or social event;
(7) Be a home hospitality host for Open World delegates;
(8) Write an article for a local weekly about a delegation’s visit.

2. Great Decisions Program

(1) Help develop materials;
(2) Be involved in program planning;
(3) Start a discussion group in your local school or library;

3. Speakers Program

(1) Suggest and/or contact speakers;
(2) Help with organizing the event;
(3) Distribute flyers and posters;
(4) Assist at the event with tickets, programs, etc.

4. Building the Vermont Council on World Affairs

(1) I am a computer whiz!  I’ll help you build databases, up-date your        website, and/or organize your mail-merge files;
(2) Write thank you notes;
(3) Be involved in community outreach activities;
(4) Do research;
(5) Help staff the office to assist on projects;
