What do our international visitors say about Vermont and the US? Our visitors this year were amazed that:

  • You can walk right into the State House--that would never happen in our countries.
  • Anyone can walk in the Memorial Day parade.
  • Many Americans know very little about the rest of the world.
  • Opposition politicians can freely oppose the ruling party.
  • There is so much poverty in the U.S.
