2022 International Day of Peace

Join VCWA on Thursday, September 22, 2022, as we come together to observe International Day of Peace.

Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, International Day of Peace represents a globally shared day for all humanity to commit to building a culture of peace in communities around the world. The Vermont Council on World Affairs is excited to once again mark International Day of Peace with programming focused on this important topic.

In line with the United Nations 2022 International Day of Peace theme: End Racism. Build Peace. we will offer a full day of programming featuring interactive discussions, panels, and a book talk.

The day will conclude with an dinner reception at Champlain College’s Hauke Family Center where we will honor our 2022 Person of the Year.
