IVLP Entrepreneurship as the Engine of Prosperity and Stability - Small Business Development 1


This project leverages our ability to make America more prosperous by supporting the U.S. government’s interest in promoting private sector-led economic growth.  It examines the role of small business to drive sustained economic growth and prosperity and hone skills to encourage entrepreneurship.  Participants will explore business models that support small business growth and economic development to benefit local communities.  Discussions and site visits highlight the social, economic, legal, and political factors that encourage the development of private enterprise, including innovation, managerial skills, government incentives, the removal of barriers to growth, access to credit and venture capital, business incubators, and public-private partnerships.
