This project highlights Vermont’s collaborative and community-centered approach to youth workforce and business development, emphasizing partnerships among government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and local businesses to address workforce needs across rural and growing communities. Through a focus on apprenticeships, technical education, mentoring, entrepreneurship, and experiential learning, the program showcases how cross-sector collaboration and wraparound support services can strengthen career readiness, expand economic opportunity, and promote long-term community resilience.
