This project for Indian policy makers, law enforcement officers, and civil society leaders showcases strategies used by the United States to combat illegal immigration, including but not limited to adopting advanced surveillance technologies, integrated border management, and comprehensive immigration laws that balance security concerns with humanitarian considerations. The participants will also focus on how strengthening bilateral and multilateral agreements, enhanced intelligence sharing, and promoting public awareness campaigns are crucial steps to addressing illegal immigration. Additionally, participants will examine efforts to address the root causes of illegal immigration by collaborating with neighboring countries on economic and social development initiatives.
