This project highlights Vermont’s collaborative and community-centered approach to youth workforce and business development, emphasizing partnerships among government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and local businesses to support career readiness and economic opportunity for young people. Through apprenticeships, technical education, mentoring, entrepreneurship initiatives, and wraparound support services, the program demonstrates how cross-sector collaboration and localized workforce strategies can strengthen community resilience, address barriers to employment, and prepare youth for evolving workforce needs.
