About the Event

Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, the International Day of Peace represents a globally shared day for all humanity to commit to building a culture of peace in communities around the world. This year, the VCWA is excited to mark the International Day of Peace with a program focusing on this important topic. The program will feature an evening reception with dinner featuring a keynote address and an award ceremony recognizing vital work in the field of peace-building.
