This project will explore the First Amendment and its role in protecting freedom of speech and the press in the United States. While meeting virtually with Vermont’s Agency of Digital Services, the visitors will learn about the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, including their impact on information integrity, media accuracy, and audience engagement. The exchange will also highlight approaches to promoting digital freedom and preparing the next generation of media professionals to navigate an evolving technological landscape.
