The project will explore the role of law enforcement and prosecutorial authorities at the federal, state, and local levels to detect, investigate, and prosecute various transnational crimes, such as financial and organized crimes, the trafficking and smuggling of people and goods, and terrorism. In Vermont, the visitors will meet with both the District Judge of Vermont, along with the Office of the Attorney General’s Criminal Division to explore how the state handles domestic and international crime, along with strategies to most effectively combat it.
