This project will examine the best practices and partnerships in international crime prevention, mitigation, prosecution, and global efforts to counter terrorism. While In Vermont, the visitors will meet with several state agencies, including the Vermont State Police and the Highgate Center Port of Entry on the Canadian border. In these meetings, the visitors will discuss and learn new ways to curtail the rise of transnational crime, while also understanding how Vermont handles its own crime within and outside of state borders.
