This project strengthens global understanding and cooperation by providing Rumsfeld Scholars with a unique opportunity to explore key elements of U.S. foreign policy, national security, and democratic governance. Through academic seminars, site visits, and discussions with policymakers, scholars will examine the principles and practices that shape U.S. engagement in international affairs. The program also highlights how democratic institutions, rule of law, and civil society contribute to global stability. By connecting emerging leaders with U.S. experts and institutions, the Rumsfeld Scholarship fosters informed dialogue that supports mutual prosperity.
